Poesie

Sommerspaziergang

Da ist er
Er kommt also von nirgendwo
und er geht nirgendwo hin
Zwei flackernde Lichter in der Ferne
Bellende Hunde
Warmer Wind auf der Haut
Ein sicherer Stand auf der Erde
so friedlich – inmitten von Allem
Wenn das Herz aufgeht
schließt es nichts aus
und es fügt auch nichts Unnötiges hinzu
Da ist er
Der Geschmack von Freiheit

Die Krankheit der Rechthaberei

Schlimm erkrankt
Wer ständig denkt er sei im Recht

Die Suche nach der einen Wahrheit
Vergiftet gar die edelsten Motive

Doch Wahrheit ist nur dann wahrhaftig
Wenn niemand sie besitzen kann

Der freie Mensch ist nicht gefangen
In Ansichten und Meinungen

About Fearlessness

The wise do not fear death
Nor do they grieve
For what cannot be lost

Having looked deeply
Into the heart of experience
They can see beyond
The polarity of life and death

Hazy Blue Mountain

Hazy blue mountain at a distance
How far away are you?

To me, you are right here
Closer than the tip of my nose

How could I ever believe
You were outside of me?

Patient Mountains

Looking down into the valley
Shapes of clouds seem numberless

Up here, the weather changes quickly
Sun, wind, clouds and rain
Conduct an endless symphony

The lake reflects without a preference
As patient mountains listen deeply

True Silence

A noisy mountain river
Waves of sound
Dancing around trees
Miraculously entering my ears
No one here
To disturb the silence

Fallen Leaves

Sitting next to a dying person
Ideas of self and other
Falling to the ground
Like leaves in autumn

Vastness

Fallen into
This vast universe without meaning
Lonely and caught up in confusion
Taken away by the winds of separation

Suddenly
A glimpse of reunion
Guided by precious beings
Although no beings can be found anywhere

A longing to be united
With unconditional peace
Searching for miracles in the wrong places
All of them to be found within the breath

As body and mind become transparent
The heart
Steps out of its self-made confinements
Into the vastness of it all
